Gangsters gives you the opportunity to be a gangster in a Chicago style
city of the 1920's. Controlling an underground organisation dealing in
extortion, illegal liquor, prostitution, violence, intimidation, gambling,
gang warfare, bribery of officials, permanent elimination of individuals
and a host of money-making activities. This is made doubly challenging by
need to simultaneously maintain a descent and honest reputation on the
surface by supporting good causes, helping the police and running
legitimate businesses.
The challenge is to balance these two persona’s to gain influence and
control over the city.
Gangsters is a highly original game that blends together three major
elements of successful strategy gaming;
* real-time game world interaction
* man-management
* business management
The aim of the game is to build your gang and business empire to rule the
city.
To do this you will have to beat three other gangs operating in the city,
and avoid arrest by the authorities. The specific win conditions balance
a need to gain wealth, honour and influence.
The game is set in a non-specific Chicago-like city in the 1920s called
'New Temperance', which is viewed by an isometric multi-level map. This
map view, on which most of the in-game activity takes place, is contained
in the main window of a Windows 95 style environment.
Interface
The interface has all the point-click-drag-resize functionality of Windows
95, and will incorporate right-button shortcuts, toolbars, layered menu
systems and tiling windows. The graphics and icons used will reflect the
1920s period, but keep the functionality of the 1990s!
The game contains turn-based and real-time elements: man management revolves
around giving weekly orders to your gang (turn-based), whilst business
management continues every day (real-time).
After giving weekly orders to your gang you will see their resulting actions
animated on the isometric map. During this period you personally supervise
the business management.

Most of the original gangsters protection was left in the EXE but apparently
it was disabled for the most part. After last year's origin fuck up
(everyone recall that you couldn't properly play the game because your gimps
were in jail)
We checked this time and it seems they are free to go
But since none of CLASS people understands how to play this game, if you
find a problem later in the game please don't hesitate to call us for the
rescue.
Also don't hesitate to explain us how to play this pretty complex and
confusing game (??!!!).
Because german audiences aren't mature if you run a german OS the exe will
detect it and possibly run a censored version....
